DIVORCE IN HONG KONG

The Philippines is the ONLY country in the world (apart from the Vatican) that does not recognize divorce. There have been some attempts to make divorce legal but they have all failed and it is unlikely to happen anytime soon.

Girls who are married cannot divorce if they are still in the Philippines – their only hope is an Annulment which is very expensive (about 10 times the cost of divorce), takes many years, instead of a few months, and often fails as judges frequently throw out the cases.

BUT – If you are living or working in HONG KONG you CAN get divorced – quickly and cheaply. Your divorce is LEGAL and recognized everywhere in the world (except the Philippines).

Freda met Rodney three years ago and their love quickly grew. Freda’s marriage in the Phillippines had broken down and she got a divorce in Hong Kong so she and Rodney could be together. Soon after the divorce we helped Rodney to petition her as a fiance. She is now happily married in California and she and Rodney are expecting their first child.

Top 7 Tips on Divorce in Hong Kong

  1. If you have a FOREIGN or HONG KONG boyfriend you can use a Hong Kong divorce to get free to marry again and join them in their country.
  2. Thousands of girls have already done this and are now with their new loves in a new land.
  3. Your ex- husband CANNOT object or INTERFERE – you do not need him to sign consent or agree.
  4. There are no complicated forms to fill out – WE do all of that and you will be accompanied at all times by one of our friendly Pinoy staff.
  5. You are unlikely to have any Court Appearances or meet a Judge (but you do need to attend court office with our staff).
  6. Process take between 6 and 11 months depending on your circumstances.
  7. Total cost is HKD8,000 (or the cost can be spread at HKD1,000 per month).

Points you must note:
As the divorce is not recognized in the Philippines you cannot register it there. Your records at the PSA will not change, and you cannot change your passport to take out your Husband’s name. But this does not stop you from Marrying again in Hong Kong or elsewhere and starting your new life in a new country.
